Qualification : A Registered Medical Graduate of a Recognized University.A Postgraduate Medical Degree/Diploma in the concerned speciality. If such candidates are not available in any particular speciality, those without PG qualification but having at least two years experience after M.B.B.S out of which one year should be in the concerned speciality can be considered.
For the Post of Senior Resident in Plastic Surgery, the candidate should possess M.S./DNB in General Surgery / ENT. Candidates possessing M. Ch. (Plastic Surgery) will be preferred.
For the Post of Senior Resident in Emergency Medical Services Department (Casualty) the candidate should possess M.D./DNB in Medicine / M.S./DNB in General Surgery. If such candidates are not available, those without PG qualification but having at least two years experience in the clinical Discipline(s) of Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics Intensive Care after M.B.B.S. from a recognized Hospital (with more than 100 beds) / Institution can be considered.
Agelimit : 33 Years.
Payscale : paid Rs.18750/-Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.do not have any Post-graduate degree or diploma, the emoluments of Senior Residents will be reduced by Rs.1300/-in B/Pay and Rs. 1200/- in G/Pay.

How to Apply : Application along with checklist should be submitted in the prescribed Proforma as in the specimen given below. It should be neatly typed on A4 size paper. The duly filled in application along with check list and attested copies of necessary certificates as stated above should reach the Office of the Director, Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry– 605 006 on or before 15-07-2011 (15 July 2011).
