Kolkata Police Recruitment Board has invited applications for the recruitment of 2550 Police Constable Vacancies. The eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before 12/02/2012.
Name of the Posts1. Constables: 2500 Posts
2. Lady Constables: 50 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age shall not be less than 18 years and more than 27 years as on 01/01/2012. Relaxation as per rules.
Educational Qualification: The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination under W.B.B.S.E or equivalent.
Examination Fee: A non refundable examination fee Rs-150/- shall have to be paid through Postal Order or Demand Draft in favour of Kolkata Police Recruitment Board payable at Kolkata. SC/ST candidates are exempted from Examination Fee.
Selection Process: The method of selection is based on Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test, Interview, and Medical Examination.
Ho to Apply: The interested candidates may download the prescribed application form from the Kolkata Police website www.kolkatapolice.gov.in. Completely filled application should be sent along with required documents, certificates in a closed envelope super scribed with Application for the post of Constable or Lady Constable through ordinary post to the following addresses on or before 12/02/2012.
