Applications are invited from qualified persons for the following posts in this University.
1. REGISTRAR: 1 Post [OC] – For a term of 3 years.
Qualifications & Pay Scale: The holder of the post of Registrar shall be an academician in the field of law not lower in rank than that of the Principal of Law College, or the Professor of the University who has put in a service in such capacity for a period of not less than three years or an officer of the Government not lower in rank than that of the Deputy Secretary to Government, Law Department.

Age: Should not have completed 55 years on the date of this Notification.
2. PROFESSOR: 2 Posts [SC-1; MBC-1] – [i] Business Law; and [ii] Intellectual Property Rights Law
3. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: 4 Posts [SC-1; SC(A)-1; MBC-1; BC-1] - [i] Criminal Law; [ii] Environmental Law; [iii] Intellectual Property Rights Law; and [iv] Consumer Law
4. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: 5 Posts [BC-2; MBC-2; SC-1] - [i] Business Law; [ii] International Law; [iii] Environmental Law; [iv] Intellectual Property Rights Law; and [v] English - Preference will be given to candidates having Law Degree
Qualifications & Pay Scale for 2,3 & 4: As prescribed by U.G.C.
Applications from candidates in service will be considered only if received through proper channel.
Retired teachers in any of these specializations may also apply.
The decision to fill or not to fill the posts rests with the University.
Application form can be had either in person or by post on payment of Rs.600/- [By post Rs.650/-] for the post of ‘Registrar’ and Rs.400/- (By post Rs.450/-) for other posts by way of D.D. drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, “Poompozhil”, 5, Dr.D.G.S. Dhinakaran Salai, Chennai – 600 028.” The last date for issue & receipt of filled in application will be 31.12.2011.
