Applications are invited for the position of 'Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - [02 posts]' on two research projects funded by Department of Atomic Energy, Board of research in Nuclear Science (DAE-BRNS)
Project 1 - Enhancement of biodegradability of distillery spentwash by gamma irradiation
Project 2 - Use of radiation processed chitosan derivatives as biostimulator for sugarcane and potato
1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) [01]
Pay-Scale - Rs.18,000/- for the first two years and Rs. 20,000/- for the third year as per DAE-BRNS norms

Qualifications:
For Project 1 - M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences (or equivalent) with minimum 60% marks or CGPA in aggregate.
For RA Post 2 - M.Sc. / M.Sc. Agriculture (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Botany ) with first class.
Experience:
For Project 1 - Two years experience, Experience in waste water treatment and analysis is desirable.
For Project 2 - Two years experience in plant tissue culture and biochemical/gene expression analysis.
