Recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist / Lab Technician) and Head Constable (Midwife) in ITBP 2011
Indo Tibetan Boarder Police Force (ITBP) invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals of both male and female community against recruitment of Group C post, such as Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) and Head Constable (HC). In the faction of Pharmacist & Lab Technician post of Assistant Sub Inspector is vacant and in Midwife segment post of Head Constable. Head Constable Vacancies are for only Female candidates of Indian Nationals; while vacancies of ASI are for both Female and Male as per their capacity. Recruitment related all the information can be seen below: -
1. Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist)No. of Vacancies: – 34 (UR-14, SC-02, ST-05, OBC-13)
Limitation of Age: – Minimum 20 years, Maximum 28 years
Age Relaxation: – Upper age of SC/ST candidates would be relaxed upto by 05 years, OBC for 03 years. Govt. Employee may get benefit of max age relaxation as per rule admissible. Victim of Riots can get 05 years max age relaxation.
Educational Qualification: – 12th passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subject.
Other Qualification: – Diploma in Pharmacy from govt. recognised institutions is also needed. Apart of it, candidates should have registered under Pharmacy Act.
Scale of Pay: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Rs. 2800/- Grade Pay
2. Assistant Sub Inspector (Laboratory Technician)No. of Vacancies: - 19 (UR-04, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-12)
Age Limit: – Not exceeding 28 years and not less than 20 years; benefit of upper age relaxation will be admissible for candidates of reserved categories along with Govt. employee and Riots Victim.
Educational Qualification: – 12th passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is also required.
Experience: – 01 years of working experience in respective trade is essential
Scale of Pay: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Rs. 2800/- Grade Pay
3. Head Constable (Midwife)No. of Vacancies: – 01 (UR-05, OBC-07)
Age Limit: – Minimum 18 years; Maximum 25 years
Age Relaxation: – Upper age relaxation would be admissible as per same parameter as shown above.
Educational Qualification: – Matriculation with Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery Course from Govt. recognised institutions
Scale of Pay: – Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
Physical Standard: – (Male)
Height: – 170 CM; Chest: – 80 CM (Without Expansion), 85 CM (with expansion)
Candidates belonging to Garhwal, Kumaon, Gorkha, Maratha and North Eastern State of India need only 165 CM height instead of shown 170 cm height.
ST Candidates have more relaxation in terms of their physical standard. Their Height should be 162.5 CM and Chest 77 CM (without expansion); 82 CM with expansion.
Physical Standard (Female)
Height: – 150 CM; weight according to height
There is no any measurement of chest of female candidates.
Medical Standard
Eye Sight: – Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other eye.
Process of Selection
After Assessment of Physical Standard, Medical Standard and Physical Efficiency Test candidates will have to face Written exam, Practical or Trade Test and Interview. Before appointment candidates have to under go for Detailed Medical Examination. Applicants have to pass all such selection steps for getting appointment.
Exam Fee
Rs. 50/- in shape of IPO or Bank Draft . The DD or IPO should be addressed as per their base Hospital. IPO or DD for HC would be addressed to “DIG, SHQ (DDN), ITBP, PO-Seemadwar, Dist: – Dehradun”
In the favour of “DIG (Medical), Composite Hospital Chandigarh, ITBP PO-Airport, Chandigarh” DD or IPO would be addressed for ASI (Lab Technician) “Commandant Base Hospital, ITBP, Tigri Camp, PO-Madangiri, New Delhi 62″ DD or IPO should be addressed for ASI (Pharmacist).

Attested copies of Certificates in support of Educational Qualification, Experience, Date of Birth, Caste and Domicile are required to attach with application.

Two self addressed envelope of 4*9 inch size with Rs. 05 stamp affixed and requisite amount of Exam fee should be also enclosed with application.
