ADVERTISEMENT FOR RA / SRF / JRF

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals on plain paper with complete Bio-data for one position of Research Associateship (RA-ship) or Senior Research Fellowship (SRF-ship) or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF-ship) to work in the research project entitled “Multiobjective Reservoir Optimization Using Swarm Intelligence Algorithms” sponsored by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi under the supervision of Dr.A.Vasan, Head, Department of Civil Engineering, BITS, Pilani – Hyderabad Campus. Selected candidates will be allowed to register for PhD programme of BITS, Pilani as per Institute procedure. The appointment would be co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility:

Research Associate (RA)
Qualifications: Doctorate or atleast three years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M.E (Civil)/M Tech (Civil)
Maximum Age: 35 years
Stipend: Rs.22,000/- per month

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Qualifications: M.E (Civil)/M.Tech (Civil) or atleast two years of post B.E (Civil)/B.Tech (Civil)
Maximum Age: 32 years
Stipend: Rs.18000/- per month

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Qualifications: B.E (Civil)/B.Tech (Civil) with 55% marks and passing of GATE test
Maximum Age: 28 years
Stipend: Rs.12000/- per month

Please note that only qualified and suitable candidates will be called for interview during third week of November 2011 to be held at BITS, Pilani-Hyderabad Campus. No TA/DA will be paid for the same.
