WALK-IN-INTERVIEW is arranged for selecting suitable candidates for the following posts under different projects at Department of Agricultural Meteorology, B. A. AICRP-NICRA “National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture”
Pay-Scale - Rs. 16000/- + HRA
Essential: M.Sc.(Agri.) in Agromet/Agronomy/ Horticulture/Statistics/Soil Sci./ Extension/ Economics
Desirable: Knowledge of computer and Gujarati language.
SAC-AAU Collaborative project on “Modelling for estimation of Incident Photosynthetically Active Radiation (IPAR) using INSAT 3D data”
JRF -One
Pay-Scale - Rs.14000/- + HRA
Essential: M.Sc./ M Tech in Maths/Applied Maths/ Physics/Scientific computations
Desirable: Knowledge of computer prog.C++, Visual basic, and MATLAB
IIT funded “Application of extended range forecast for climate risk management in rainfed/irrigated system in Anand and Kheda districts of middle Gujarat”
SRF -One
Pay-Scale - Rs.16000/- + HRA
Essential: M.Sc.in Agricultural Meteorology/ Meteorology
Desirable: (i) Knowledge of DSSAT simulation modeling.
Plan scheme “Centre for weather forecasting and climate change”
RA -One
Pay-Scale - Rs.23000/- for M.Sc. & Rs. 24000/- for Ph. D. + HRA
Essential: M.Sc./Ph. D. in Agricultural Meteorology/ Meteorology/Atmospheric science
Desirable: Knowledge of climatic analysis/modelling
