Applications are invited from Indian nationals for one temporary position of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) for the project entitled “Understanding mechanism of enhanced immunity using nanotechnology based immune modulators” funded by DST in the School of Biological Sciences, NISER. DURATION: Initially for a period of one year (likely to be extended further).

QUALIFICATION:
55% in M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Bioinformatics or any branch of Biology with specialization in Bio-informatics and/or computer science. Expertise and advanced knowledge in JAVA, C/C++ and PERL is required and candidates with mainframe system administration will be preferred. Candidates should have valid CSIR-UGC-NET / GATE qualification.

Fellowship: ` 16,000 + HRA (as per DST norms)

AGE: 28 years as on 18.11.2011, age relaxation to entitled categories as per DST rules.
