As an Associate, SiE, you would be building the infrastructure for a revolution in Indian schools, so that every child has access to world-class digital content and services like on-line self-paced learning, video-conferencing, tablet computers, and more… Desired Profile : Scalability in Education (SiE) is the "technology division" of EZ Vidya. The role of Associate in SiE is to research, build, and test low-cost / high-impact IT systems for rollout to private and government schools. You will get in at the “ground floor”, and have opportunity to contribute immediately on a variety of platforms and projects, including Linux, MySQL, Drupal (HTML content management), and TechMate, EZ Vidya's custom learning application. We’re looking for someone to grow with us for several years, in a fast-paced environment where ability to learn and flexibility are as important as initial skills and experience. Not all the work will be fun and exciting – the platforms of tomorrow are built on a lot of nuts-and-bolts work today. You will be required to perform a range of tasks, from installing operating systems to configuring databases, administering web-based systems or testing Flash videos, handling customer support issues or training EZ Vidya staff and external teachers in how to use the latest gadgets. Of course at the end of the day only one thing matters - better outcomes (i.e. smiles) for children!
