The programmers/testers hired would be working on a project for Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) which is India's premier NGO working on electoral & political reforms.
The main job responsibilities include:
- Web Application development using PHP & MySQL
- Unit Testing
- Version control
- Release management.
Desired Profile :
Should be a fast learner with a passion to create quality software. This is also a unique opportunity to work on software projects which are changing the face of India�s democracy and political system.
- BTech/BE with 0-2 years of experience as a developer or tester in the IT industry
- Experience in PHP 5 development would be preferred
- Strong OO concepts
- Knowledge of MySQL 5, Subversion & Linux Command Line would be an added advantage
- Candidates should be Smart and willing to ask questions
- Innovative and able to find answers where others see a blank wall
- Enthusiastic and pragmatic
- Problem solvers who can accept and provide input from others
- Team players who can gel well with others or work alone depending on the situation
- Excellent communication skills needed.
